A WORD TO WOULD-BE GREAT PREACHERS

The best method of preaching Christ is living Christ. It is the finest eloquence, the most powerful logic, the most effective of all the arts and schemes of human wisdom and learning; the greatest evidence of Christianity, and the grandest demonstration of the power of God in the midst of an ungodly world. The preparation for such preaching costs the believer more prayers and tears than aught else I know.
