When God elected His people in Christ, and reconciled them to Himself in Him, He foresaw all the evil that would be in them both before and after their conversion; and if this did not prevent His choosing and calling them, it never can be the cause of His casting them off, seeing they are loved in Christ, in whom they are always viewed without any spot of sin.
